Sara Alonso, 1981, Spain / Exploring the transitory nature of the temporal.
Bio CV

Sara Alonso, Spain, 1981, lives in Glasgow, UK.

Sara uses found images, photography and printmaking to create poignant narratives through visual poetry. She has a particular interest in exploring the transitory nature of the temporal. Fragments of her own reality are found and lost in surreal landscapes immersed in an atemporal spectrum. In her images each element lives intensely in its particular universe. In her work Sara addresses universal themes such as the passage of time and the ethereal connection between lives, clearing away conscious thought to directly address mood and sensation.

She took an MLitt Fine Art Practice (Print Media) in the Glasgow School of Art (Distinction-2015). Sara Alonso combines her practice as an artist with commisions for art direction and visual projects such as Toiletpaper magazine.
